Archaeological site with urban traces of the first Phoenician settlement of Ibiza (8th century BC). The settlement occupied this entire tongue of land and represented a miniature city, with neighborhoods full of variegated houses, separated by narrow alleys and a few squares. In the beginning, the houses were very modest, with only one or two rooms. In a second phase, thanks to the economic development experienced by its inhabitants, the houses grew. The nucleus was divided into neighborhoods, such as the port, the central or the northwest. The southern quarter is the only one currently visible and is protected by a fence.
