This cove is located in the north of the island of Ibiza in the municipality of Sant Antoni de Portmany, in the area of Santa Agnès. It is long but very narrow, with about 250 meters long and 10 meters wide and, instead of sand, its coast is formed by rocks and gravel. This dreamy hidden cove is surrounded by large rocks in the form of cliffs that together with the crystal clear water of the sea gives it an incomparable beauty, nothing to envy to other coves of Ibiza or Formentera. It is one of the best corners that you will find in this area.

Cala Xuclà is situated at two kilometres from Portinatx, located between Punta Excusi and Cala Xarraca, as well as below the Puig de sa Xarraca. The puntas de sa Torre and Xarraca are the limits on the sides of the entrance to Badia de Cala Xarraca, in the interior of which you can find several coves, and we are now describing the first one. This quiet beach is quite small and it is the end of a small and narrow u-shaped sea inlet. The cliffs which are quite high are the natural breakwaters and they are covered by some thick pine trees. The beach has quite fine-grained white sand and the slope is gentle (at 25 metres from the coast there is a depth of less than one and a half metres). The marine and underwater conditions for anchoring boats are good in the south-eastern area, on a rocky ground, and the depth ranges from five to eight metres. The wind nearly disappears in this sea inlet. The beautiful marine ground and the transparency of the water invite to dive. The accessibility by car is easy following the signs and the deviations. The last two hectometres have to be done on a steep track. The private car can be left on a free parking area in the surroundings. You can also reach this beach with the public transport. The nearest bus stop is located next to this beach. These characteristics explain that the beach is not very crowded by tourists. Information about this beach may change. This small tongue of sand and rocks joins s'Illa den Bosc, an islet located in front of Port de Sant Miquel, with the coast of Ibiza. The sand is mixed with round gravels and its waters are very clean. The beach has a small beach bar and some sunbeds and umbrellas. Next to the cove runs a path that leads to the islet, privately owned, whose interior houses a luxurious villa (a gate prevents the passage of the curious).
