Can Ventosa

Can Ventosa is a modernist-style building, located in the center of the capital, which housed a textile factory specializing in knitwear. It was built in 1925, although at the end of the 1950s it was acquired by the Ministry of Defense, which converted it into a workshop and warehouse for the Army. In the 90s of the twentieth century it was expanded and converted into a cultural center, theater-auditorium and municipal library, although its original facade was respected. Many of the concerts and artistic performances organized in the city take place on this stage.
