From the square, going back to Universitat street, you will once again come upon the Sant Bernat bulwark, which houses the tunnel leading to Es Soto Fosc. You can temporarily leave the walled area via a gateway. Once outside the wall, you can see the Santa Tecla bulwark. In the Es Soto area, a stairway leads to “sa sortida des Soto”, where you can find a tunnel built as a refuge during the Civil War which leads to Plaça d’Espanya, also known as the Plaça de l'Ajuntament (Town Hall Square).
