Between Puig des Molins and Es Soto, behind Dalt Vila, is the racó de Sa Berenada. It is a place where traditionally a popular 'berenada' (snack) was held to celebrate the 8th of August, the day of the big festivities of the city of Ibiza. The idea was that everyone brought their own food and then shared it with the others as a big family. Since the 80s of the last century the tradition of making paella in this berenada for all Ibizans was imposed and over time the idea has established itself as the huge attraction of this day.
